Gifts for the Gifts in Your Life
Whether you’re shopping for fall birthdays or looking to get a jump on the holidays, we’ve got a brand new fall gifting collection out today! This collection is full of beautiful earrings, easy wear necklaces, and unisex bracelets, many included in our legendary five for $40 mix-and-match collection!
To celebrate, we wanted to give you some of our best gifting tips to help you give great gifts all season long!
TIP 1: Pray about what God‘s heart for them is in their lives right now.
As Christians we have confidence in our ability to hear God's voice, and God loves to give us encouragement for those around us. As you plan a gift for someone, take a little time to pray and ask the Lord what it is He wants to share with them in this season of their life and jot it down to guide your gift hunt.
TIP 2: Think about their personal style, preferences, and how they use their time.
The best gifts fit seamlessly into the life someone’s already living. Have a friend who loves fitness? A great reusable water bottle with some pretty vinyl stickers could be the perfect supplement to their daily routine. Have a sister who loves big earrings? An "earring bouquet" (maybe from our 5/$40 collection?) could be an extra thoughtful gift. Think about what they will use vs. what you might use and don't let your own life color your perception of theirs.
TIP 3: Have a message in mind.
Going back to tip one when you took some time to pray: no matter what you gift, it makes it extra meaningful to include a note, card, or a message to help connect the recipient with the reason that you picked this for them. This special extra step can take the exact same gift from fine to life-changing. We made you some postcards to do this or you can take advantage of our many beautiful greeting cards.
TIP 4: Have fun with the presentation!
It’s not hard to make the presentation of a gift extra special. Check out our Pinterest board of gift wrap ideas here, or plan to check out our upcoming resource library of printable gifting essentials launching later this fall.
This is the perfect time to start your gifting process for the holidays so that you can approach it from a place of peace instead of hurry, worry, and frustration. Gifting truly is a love language and it’s so often means so much to people when we put in the extra time to prepare our gifts well. Personally I try to have all my gifts completed by Halloween to make sure that I am honoring the people I give gifts to well while also protecting my own mental space around the holidays.
