In today’s fascinating conversation, Bridget Flood tells me about the amazing formation and mission of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word. She also shares the wisdom she's learned from the Sisters about joy, service, and presence.
A philanthropist, potter and beekeeper, Bridget McDermott Flood has spent more than 20 years walking with and learning from the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word as the executive director of the Incarnate Word Foundation. She is the author of Blue Hole Wisdom: My Journey with the Sisters, a spiritual memoir. Bridget is also the proprietor of Carondelet Pottery. Bridget lives in St. Louis with her husband, Michael and their dogs, Sam and Montague.
