In today’s conversation I’m joined by Liz Pastina to talk about strategies to approach helping those in your life with mental health issues as well as personal mindset shifts to bring about a more authentic Joy in your own life!
Liz Pastina, MSSW, LSW is a Licensed Social Worker and Mental Health Therapist with experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in both individual and group therapy at several different levels of care. She received her BA in Psychology at the University of Dayton and her Masters of Science in Social Work at the University of Tennessee. Liz's specialities in treatment are stress, anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, OCD, ADHD and spirituality. Liz loves the Catholic faith, coffee, the Dayton Flyers, the Tennessee mountains, and working with people to help them heal and develop into the best version of themselves. Liz offers therapy services working under a group practice in Ohio. Liz’s dream is to open up a private practice where she can practice therapy and offer a faith-based approach.
Liz believes that it is important to focus emotional, spiritual, physical and intellectual well-being of the person to promote healing, rhythm…and to create a joyful life!
Liz is a co-host of Mission Mind & Heart Podcast - a podcast that holds authentic conversation around mental health and the Catholic faith from the perspective of two devout therapists.
