17 Bible Verses About Strength

A few years ago, tornados broke out in North America all year round. Major cities all over America were greatly affected. Strong hurricanes like Maria, Irma, Jose, Harvey among others broke out as well and they brought many families out of their homes. It was reported that Hurricane Maria had lead winds of over 180 miles per hour, this was more than any other historically recorded speed. Hospitals, homes, business and dreams were destroyed.

The Storms Of Life.

Life is also full of storms of that similar destructive nature. How do we face such challenges when they show up in our lives without feeling afraid? When the enemy attacks you with lies and discouragements, where do you turn for help? You might even be going through one right now, and you are afraid because of these insurmountable storms. Take heart, there is hope for us in the word of God. We can not stand amid storms all by ourselves. We must learn to look at the bible for strength.

Below are 17 bible verses about strength that God has used to strengthen many people during their personal storms. As you meditate on the words of the verses, I am sure that they bring you strength when you feel weak and overwhelmed. (All verses are taken from Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA) version of the bible.)
